Hello everyone - welcome to the September newsletter.
September 2025

Sad Girl
"She wanders amongst the busy streets. Tired she sits on a bench all of her belongings in a bag. She cries and the sky cries with her.
Her life was so full of joy yet others decided that she should suffer Immigrant, foreigner, trans, not looking like other people: these are the so-called sins she is being punished for by the rich and powerful The gods cry their tears for what has become of humanity"
Sad Girl came out in the middle of August. Please do take a listen

Coming Soon
I have been working hard over the past few weeks with the Soma Enner and it is slowly coming together.
Combined with a couple of tape machines running tape loops I have some really interesting sounds.
I do, however, need to do some editing as I think 40 minutes of droning is kinda tough.
So expect some more experimental music later in the month

Bandcamp Friday
As already mentioned the 5th of September is also Bandcamp Friday when all the proceeds from sales goes to the artist.
Let me say how important it is to buy from creators. Over the past year despite thousands of streams I have received less than $5 from Soundcloud and nothing from any other streaming service.
A few purchases of downloads and or physical media more than covers this amount in one or two sales.
So please support artists by buying directly from them. If not me, then someone you like to listen to.

Remember subscribers get access to other music and videos not available elsewhere. You can also email me at subscribers@samanthajsmith.eu with any questions or thoughts. Are you interested in vinyl or cassettes? Do you want to see videos?
Hugs,
Sammi
